Employment Law - Fee Guideline
Due to the nature of employment work, our professional fees will vary depending on the circumstances of a matter, therefore please treat the below as a guide to our general fee structure.
Costs
For bringing or defending claims for unfair or wrongful dismissal the average costs of a matter proceeding to a hearing:
Simple Case: £5000 - £10,000 (excluding VAT)
Medium Complex Case: £10,000 - £25,000 (excluding VAT)
Highly Complex Case: £25,000 - £75,000 (excluding VAT)
There may be disbursements to pay which will be agreed with you before we instruct the appropriate person. These disbursements may include:

Counsel's (Barrister) Fees: £1000 - £5000 per day on hearings

Medical Fees or Experts Fees: Vary
Alternative Funding Sources
You may have the option of care under an Insurance Policy or Trade Union membership. Your adviser will discuss this with you at the start of the engagement.
Rees Roberts Solicitors hourly rates are applicable in all above matters. Our hourly rates are outlined below:
Director/Partner: £350.00 per hour (excluding VAT)
Paralegal/Trainee Solicitor: £110.00 - £150.00 per hour (excluding VAT)
