Phil Rees-Roberts, Managing Director and Head of Property

Phil has been advising his local and national client base on business and property law matters for over 20 years.

Witnessing Liverpool's property renaissance and keen to bring his expertise to a niche setting, he established Rees-Roberts Solicitor in 2001 following eight years as a Partner at Berrymans Lace Mawer. Since then he has dedicated his time to cementing the reputation for excellence and key strategic partnerships that the practice enjoys today.

As well as advising on land transactions and business deals, Phil has been in the thick of regeneration projects with particular expertise in fighting for compensation entitlement for businesses relocating by major infrastructure projects through the Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) process. Phil takes a holistic approach, maintaining good lines of communication with all relevant decision makers in Local and National Government in parallel with the legal process.

A growing client base has resulted from a "can do" approach and a commitment to producing a cost effective commercial solution to achieve required targets in a timely way.

Phil was born in Liverpool and now lives in Heswall. When he's not in the thick of property transactions Phil is most likely to be found on the golf course, at a gig or outdoors in the North Wales countryside, where his membership of a pheasant shoot sees him take an active role in land conservation.
