Job Opportunities We have a dedicated hard working team with a "can do" approach and attitude. Working for a niche firm is not a soft option. If anything it is harder than working in the larger commercial practices but in our view more rewarding. It requires a flexible approach and attitude. The upside is more "hands on" experience with quality work in our niche sectors of commercial and litigation. The property work is a core focus on which the firm was established in 2001 and covers all areas, contentious and non contentious, from planning, regeneration (including compulsory purchase compensation), development and investment. Our expertise includes commercial conveyancing but conveyancing per se represents only 20% of the turnover; the rest of the work relates to solving complex property and business legal problems for our clients, providing timely and cost effective solutions with the very highest service levels. Our clients range from individuals, sole traders and private companies to quoted PLCs. So why do clients instruct us rather than the larger corporates? For a start the service delivery standards have to be "top of the range" which sets us apart from the competition and has helped to establish and grow the practice by reputation. There is no compromise in this area. We are committed to the highest standards we can achieve on a day to day basis and expect that every team member respects the client, has accurate attention to detail and can produce a cost effective result for both the client and the firm within the legal regulatory framework. It is partly a matter of common sense and good attitude together with competency and legal knowledge. The firm outsources its typing, IT, document management and PR. There is one full time cashier/administrator. The rest of the focus is on the client, work and marketing (in which there are opportunities but no obligations to participate). Above all, whatever your position in the team, we all respect each other leading to a positive and pleasant working environment and work satisfaction. |
